HALO28 & REVYN

Project Brief

This project was a team effort where we used six word stories and “what if” “how could we” questions to get insights and conduct in-depth research. This approach enabled us to understand the historical development of the YEMA brand and product details, and to identify opportunities for innovation. Based on this understanding, we designed a red light therapy device specifically for LA2028 women's marathon runner Sifan Hassan, targeting mental and physical relaxation during the Olympics, enabling the athlete to recover quickly from the intensity of the race and face each race in top form.

Athletics - Marathon

490BC-LA 2028

Women first participated in the Olympic Games in 1900, and the women's marathon officially began in 1984. This shows their relentless fight for their place in the Olympic. In the upcoming LA2028 Olympic Games, they need to face new technological innovations and focus on sustainability and technology adoption, which is a new threshold for the Olympic Games.

Sifan has not only faced setbacks in her personal life, but also on the court. Injuries have slowed her down, but they haven't stopped her from winning championships. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Sifan showed her resilience by competing in not one, but three women's Olympic events. Her continued energy has led her to success, but recovery time is crucial to her ability to perform at her peak.
